Headache & Migraine - Causes, Symptoms & Treatment
Headache and Migraine Relief

Headache & Migraine

Headaches are one of the most common medical complaints, but they are not all the same. Whether it’s a dull throb or a debilitating migraine, chronic pain can severely impact your quality of life.

We specialize in distinguishing between tension headaches, migraines, and other underlying causes. Our goal is to stop the pain, prevent future attacks, and help you return to a pain-free life.

Throbbing Pain

Intense pulsing sensation, often on one side of the head (Unilateral).

Sensory Sensitivity

Extreme sensitivity to light (photophobia) or loud sounds during an attack.

Nausea & Dizziness

Feeling sick to your stomach, vomiting, or vertigo accompanying the pain.

Tightness & Pressure

A sensation of a tight band squeezing around the forehead (Tension headache).

Types of Headaches We Treat

Accurate diagnosis is the first step to relief. We treat:

Migraine

Severe, recurring pulses of pain, often accompanied by visual disturbances (aura) and nausea.

Tension Headache

The most common type. Feels like a tight band around the head, often caused by stress or posture.

Cluster Headache

Intense burning or piercing pain behind one eye, occurring in cyclical patterns or "clusters."

Sinus Headache

Deep and constant pain in the cheekbones, forehead, or bridge of the nose due to inflammation.

Common Symptoms Checklist

Understanding your symptoms helps us find the right treatment.

Visual Aura

Seeing flashing lights, zigzag lines, or temporary vision loss before the pain starts.

Unilateral Pain

Pain that is strictly located on one specific side of the head (common in migraines).

Neck Stiffness

Pain radiating down to the neck or shoulders, making it difficult to turn your head.

Sensitivity (Triggers)

Pain worsened by loud noises, bright lights, or strong smells (perfumes, smoke).

Duration

Pain that lasts anywhere from 4 hours to 3 days if left untreated.

Confusion / Brain Fog

Difficulty speaking clearly, concentrating, or feeling "out of it" during an attack.

Our Treatment Approach

We focus on acute relief and long-term prevention.

1. Trigger Identification

We analyze your history to find triggers like diet, sleep, stress, or hormones that may be causing your attacks.

2. Acute & Preventive Meds

Using Triptans for active attacks and Beta-blockers or other preventatives to reduce frequency.

3. Lifestyle Management

Guidance on hydration, sleep hygiene, posture correction, and stress reduction techniques.
